Aer Lingus has confirmed that its non-stop route from Manchester Airport to Barbados will return in Winter 2022.
Flights initially began last October, and the service will end as planned on 29th April.
The service will restart on 2nd November with three flights per week – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They are operated with an A330-300, with the (decent) Aer Lingus fully flat business class seat.
Seats are theoretically bookable with Avios, although Aer Lingus does not guarantee to makes seats available on every flight.
The situation for booking Aer Lingus with Avios remains a mess, with some seats bookable via avios.com (usually economy only) and a totally different selection of seats being available via British Airways Executive Club – but only by telephone.
United Airlines also offers Aer Lingus reward seats due to its partnership, and their availability doesn’t seem to match any of the other pots! Our main article on booking Avios seats on Aer Lingus is here.
